Center for Relationship Education makes SMARTool available
The Center for Relationship Education is making the SMARTool (Systematic Method for Assessing Risk Avoidance Curriculum) analysis tool available to organizations. The themes outlined in the literature increase the protective factors of children to enable and empower them to resist high-risk behaviors, particularly early sexual debut. Sexual risk avoidance abstinence education organizations benefit from aligning their strategies and lesson plans with the literature outlined in the SMARTool. This tool was developed in conjunction with a CDC-DASH Cooperative Agreement and was reviewed by CDC-DASH scientific experts allowing it to be disseminated to the field.
